Liquid on Skin Tutorial by blackdahlia Liquid on Skin Tutorial by blackdahlia
Some time ago, it was requested that I make a tutorial for doing water droplets...here's some pointers for use in photoshop. I know it's not perfect, but this is just how I do water droplets. =p

Edit: Added some examples of usage.

Hello :)
Your tutorial looks very good and I really like the result but I'm stuck at the step "Activate Layer 2 and desaturate it"... I don't have the same result than you when i do it... Can you help me ?

hmm, I'll try...what seems to be the issue? Is the second layer not showing up?

It's showing up, but it looks like the first layer before I erased it xD

Hmm, depending on what your initial color was, the gray might not show up until you change the layer mode to multiply. If it still doesn't look quite right, try fiddling with the color in the hue/saturation slider under Image > Adjustments.

I would have liked to see it used in an actual artwork so that I can see how it works, even if you just linked something in your gallery in the description. But still an interesting tutorial.
