Heh, this reminds me of the river on the trail near my home. Me and my brother stop by on Sundays to feed, photograph, and joke around with the gaggle of geese and ducks there.
I've seen them do this too; they'll occupy the entire pathway through the trail from time to time, or they take residence on the nearby soccer field.
